iPhone App for London History Enthusiasts

Museum of London rolled out a new handy app perfect for London history enthusiasts. Available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, Streetmuseum lets visitors view old photos of London when they are visiting a popular street or landmark.

In addition to letting you get a glimpse of the past through hundreds of images of old London, the app allows you to create your own itinerary, and read up on history.

On your self-guided tour, simply hold your camera up to the present day street scene and see the same London location appear on your screen.
